2nd Annual Hockey Showcase Returns to Dallas this Spring
Following a successful inaugural hockey showcase last spring, Top Notch Prospect Showcase is set to return to the Dallas/Fort Worth area May 22-25 at the Dr. Pepper Star Center Valley Ranch. Last year’s event saw several players receive opportunities at the Junior “A” level as we have alumni currently playing in the USHL, NAHL, SJHL, USPHL, CCHL, and EHL.
Top Notch brings coaches and scouts from NCAA Division 1, USHL, NAHL, and several other Jr. A leagues to DFW. Boston College (NCAA), Nebraska Omaha (NCAA), Madison (USHL) and Dubuque (USHL) were just a few of the many teams represented at the inaugural Top Notch Prospect Showcase. Stay tuned for updates on which teams will be attending this year.
New to this year’s Prospect Showcase is the “Futures division, (1999-2000 birth years). Players at this level will be offered a head start in the scouting game as they too will be coached and watched by teams from around the nation. The “Juniors Division” (1995-1998 birth years) will return as the players seek opportunity to move to the next level.
All players in attendance will receive a team practice, 4 game guarantee, and the potential of a 5th game if selected to the All Star Game on the final day. The on ice practices will be run by college and junior coaches.
The Top Notch Prospect Showcase is by invite only for participants, but open to the public for viewing. Players interested in attending should fill out a player request available on the Top Notch website.

“Last year I attended the Top Notch Prospect Showcase hoping to get noticed by a Junior team. I was undrafted and did not have any teams showing interest. While at Top Notch both Dubuque of the USHL and Lonestar of the NAHL really liked me and invited me to their main camps. I ended up making Lonestar where I have played all of the 2014-15 season. I recently received a scholarship to Union College who are the NCAA Division 1 defending National Champions. Attending Top Notch really helped open doors for me to advance my hockey career”
