USHL’s Youngstown Phantoms Commits to Showcase
The second commit to the Top Notch Hockey Prospect Showcase has been announced as the Youngstown Phantoms (USHL) will be represented this May in Dallas.
Youngstown is a member of the USHL, a Tier I Junior A league. Residing in Ohio, the Phantoms will be scouting for their 2015-16 roster as well take note in this year’s “Futures” division.
Top Notch brings coaches and scouts from NCAA Division 1, USHL, NAHL, and several other Jr. A leagues to DFW. Stay tuned for updates on which teams will be attending this year.
This year’s showcase will be May 22-25 and hosted in Dallas, TX. Players interested in attending should fill out a player request available on the Top Notch website.
New to this year’s Prospect Showcase is the “Futures division, (1999-2000 birth years). Players at this level will be offered a head start in the scouting game as they too will be coached and watched by teams from around the nation. The “Juniors Division” (1995-1998 birth years) will return as the players seek opportunity to move to the next level.
All players in attendance will receive a team practice, 4 game guarantee, and the potential of a 5th game if selected to the All Star Game on the final day. The on ice practices will be run by college and junior coaches.
