NAHL'S Lone Star Brahmas Join Scouts at Top Notch

The Lone Star Brahmas of the NAHL confirmed their attendance to the Top Notch Hockey Prospect Showcase, the third NAHL team to do so. The showcase is scheduled for May 22-25 at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas.

The Brahmas found success last year scouting at the camp as they signed goaltender, Jake Kupsky, following the event. Kupsky is now committed to play at Union College in the fall. Four Top Notch attendees from last year are on the Brahmas’ roster: Chad Guderian, Jake Kupsky, Alexey Solovyev and Johan Steen.

Brahmas Head Coach and Top Notch Hockey Director, Dan Wildfong understands the importance of having presence at the camp. “Following last year’s success, it has been proven the pool of talent Top Notch is incredible. We hope to find a few more stars to join our organization next year, and to ultimately earn D-I scholarships,” Wildfong said.

The Lone Star Brahmas are the eighth announced team following: Odessa Jackalopes (NAHL), Bloomington Thunder (USHL), Bentley University (NCAA), Madison Capitols (USHL), Wichita Falls Wildcats (NAHL), Northern Michigan University (NCAA) and Youngstown Phantoms (USHL). Several more programs will be announced in the very near future; please continue to follow us for the most recent news.
