USA Hockey Player Personnel Director Set to Attend


Top Notch announced Thursday the U.S. National Team Development Program (USNTDP) will be sending Assistant Director of Player Personnel, Ryan Hardy, to scout the showcase. This year Top Notch will be Memorial Day weekend (May 22-25) at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas.

The USNTDP is sanctioned by USA Hockey and identifies elite ice hockey players in the country under the age of 18, and centralize their training in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ryan Hardy enters his second season at USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program as assistant director of player personnel. His responsibilities include identification, education, and recruitment of potential players. Prior to joining USNTDP, Hardy served as a regional amateur scout in the NHL and was an assistant coach with Sacred Heart University’s men’s hockey team.

The USANTDP makes up the ninth scout to attend Top Notch as they join: Lone Star Brahmas (NAHL) Odessa Jackalopes (NAHL), Bloomington Thunder (USHL), Bentley University (NCAA), Madison Capitols (USHL), Wichita Falls Wildcats (NAHL), Northern Michigan University (NCAA) and Youngstown Phantoms (USHL).
