Brahmas Back: Ready to Scout
The Lone Star Brahmas of the strong southern division in the NAHL confirmed their attendance to the Top Notch Hockey Prospect Showcase. The showcase is scheduled for May 27-30 at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas.
The Brahmas found success in the showcase's inaugural year as they signed goaltender, Jake Kupsky who signed with Union College after his season with Lone Star. Many Top Notch attendees from have made up the Brahmas’ roster, including: Chad Guderian, Jake Kupsky, Alexey Solovyev, Johan Steen and Troy York.
Brahmas Head Coach and Top Notch Hockey Director, Dan Wildfong understands the importance of having presence at the camp. “This event continues to exhibit many talented players from all around. We are hopeful to find some players to ultimately join our organization next year on their path to earn D-I scholarships,” Wildfong said.
The Brahmas are the twelfth announced team joining: Ferris State (NCAA), University of Alaska Fairbanks (NCAA), Niagara University (NCAA), Sioux City Musketeers (USHL), USANTDP (USA Hockey), Colgate University (NCAA), Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights (NAHL), Des Moines Buccaneers (USHL), Arizona State University (NCAA), Bloomington Thunder (USHL) and Madison Capitols (USHL).
