2016 NCAA Champs Announce Attendance to Showcase

Top Notch Hockey is proud to announce the first program in attendance to the 4th showcase — the heralded University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks (NCAA). The showcase is scheduled for May 26-29 at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter Valley Ranch in Irving, Texas.

The Fighting Hawks (formerly known as the Sioux) are members of the NCHC and play in Grand Forks, ND. The team is renowned for its successful program: eight NCAA Championships, including last year’s win, 22 Frozen Four appearances and 30 NCAA tournament bids. The program has an extensive alumni list which includes notable athletes such as, Jonathan Toews (08-09), Zach Parise (02-04) and T.J. Oshie (05-08).

This is the first team of many to announce their presence at this year’s Top Notch Hockey Prospect Showcase. Top Notch brings coaches and scouts from NCAA Division 1, USHL, NAHL, and several other Jr. Leagues to DFW. Stay tuned for updates on which teams will be attending this year.
